Georgia Bigger and Better Business Team Earns Major Honors at 2026 Southern Regional Conference

The Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. – State of Georgia proudly celebrated a historic and award-winning showing at the 2026 Southern Regional Conference, as the Georgia Bigger and Better Business Team received multiple regional recognitions for leadership, innovation, service, and economic empowerment throughout the state of Georgia.
Under the leadership of Andre L. Belue, Georgia continued to establish itself as a leading force in the Southern Region through impactful programming, strategic partnerships, business education initiatives, and community engagement rooted in the fraternity’s national program of Bigger and Better Business.
During the conference, the Georgia delegation was recognized with the following honors:
- Most PIA Hours in the Southern Region
- Most Service Hours in the Southern Region
- 2026 Bigger and Better Business Director of the Year – awarded to Bro. Andre L. Belue
- State Bigger and Better Business Appreciation Award
These recognitions reflect the tireless work of the Georgia Bigger and Better Business Team, chapter directors, and Brothers across the state who have committed themselves to advancing entrepreneurship, financial literacy, professional development, and community impact.
“This recognition is not about one person — it represents the collective effort of Brothers across Georgia who continue to show up, serve, lead, and build,” said Bro. Andre L. Belue. “We are committed to creating opportunities, empowering Black-owned businesses, supporting our communities, and ensuring Bigger and Better Business remains impactful across every level of our state.”
Over the past year, Georgia’s Bigger and Better Business Team has led initiatives focused on:
- Small Business Month campaigns
- Black business spotlights and promotions
- Financial literacy and entrepreneurship programming
- Strategic partnerships with organizations and financial institutions
- Professional development and networking opportunities
- Program Implementation Assessment (PIA) training and accountability initiatives
One of the year’s standout accomplishments was Georgia’s launch of a regional PIA training initiative that expanded throughout the Southern Region and drew participation from Brothers across multiple states.
Georgia leadership also expressed appreciation to Southern Regional and International leadership for their continued support and vision, including:
