Statewide Virtual Summit on October 22 Will Spotlight Entrepreneurship, Economic Empowerment, Strategic Partnerships and the Power of Supporting Black-Owned Businesses
ATLANTA, GA — Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., through its Georgia State Bigger & Better Business Program, is proud to announce the 2026 Georgia Bigger & Better Business Virtual Business Summit, taking place Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM Eastern Time.
This dynamic, statewide virtual gathering will bring together entrepreneurs, small-business owners, corporate professionals, business development leaders, aspiring entrepreneurs, collegiate students, community stakeholders and members of the Divine Nine for an evening dedicated to business education, economic empowerment and meaningful connections.
Under the leadership of Brother Andre L. Belue, Georgia State Director of Bigger & Better Business, the summit is designed to equip participants with practical knowledge, introduce valuable resources and encourage collaborative approaches to building sustainable businesses and stronger communities.
Building Businesses. Strengthening Communities. Creating Opportunities.
For more than a century, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. has demonstrated its commitment to economic advancement through its Bigger & Better Business program, one of the fraternity’s signature national initiatives.
The program promotes entrepreneurship, financial education, business development, economic empowerment and support for businesses that contribute to the prosperity of the communities they serve.
The Georgia Virtual Business Summit advances that mission by creating an accessible platform where business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs can learn from experienced professionals, explore opportunities and build relationships that extend beyond geographical boundaries.
“This summit is about more than having conversations about business. It’s about creating opportunities, opening doors and making sure people leave with information they can actually use,” said Brother Andre L. Belue, Georgia State Director of Bigger & Better Business.
“We understand that building a successful business takes more than a great idea. It takes relationships, resources, knowledge, consistency and a community willing to support your vision. Our goal is to bring those elements together in one powerful virtual experience. When we strengthen our businesses, we strengthen our families, our communities and our economic future.”
What Participants Can Expect
The two-hour virtual summit will feature engaging conversations and perspectives from business professionals, entrepreneurs and industry leaders addressing some of the most important opportunities and challenges facing today’s business community.
Key discussion areas will include:
- Entrepreneurship and Business Growth: Understanding the fundamentals of launching, managing and scaling a sustainable business.
- Access to Resources and Opportunities: Exploring business development resources, professional networks and opportunities that support long-term growth.
- Strategic Partnerships and Networking: Learning how relationships, collaborations and community connections can create meaningful business opportunities.
- Financial Empowerment: Encouraging sound financial practices, business readiness and long-term economic stability.
- Technology and Innovation: Examining how entrepreneurs can use emerging tools, digital platforms and innovation to remain competitive.
- Black-Owned Business Development: Reinforcing the importance of intentionally supporting Black-owned and locally owned businesses.
- Leadership and Community Impact: Exploring how successful businesses can become engines for job creation, mentorship and community transformation.
- The summit will also provide opportunities for participants to gain actionable insights from a moderated business panel featuring diverse entrepreneurial and professional perspectives.
Turning Economic Conversations Into Measurable Impact
The Georgia Bigger & Better Business Program continues to encourage chapters and members across the state to support local businesses, promote entrepreneurship and document their collective impact.
As of September 1, 2026, Georgia’s Bigger & Better Business reporting reflected:
- $319,354.03 in reported Georgia Black Dollar Spend
- 312 reported program implementation activities (PIAs)
- 7,821 reported service hours
- These figures reflect the broader work being accomplished across Georgia through organized service, economic engagement and chapter-level programming.
The 2026 Virtual Business Summit seeks to build upon this foundation by challenging participants to move beyond conversations and take intentional action through business support, partnerships, referrals, mentorship and continued community investment.
A Statewide Invitation to Business Owners and the Community
Although the summit is presented by Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., its message extends beyond fraternity membership.
The virtual format provides an opportunity for individuals throughout Georgia and beyond to engage in the discussion without the barriers of travel.
“This is an opportunity for our Brotherhood to demonstrate what Bigger & Better Business looks like in action,” Belue added.
“But this is also an invitation to our communities. You do not have to be a member of Phi Beta Sigma to believe in entrepreneurship, economic opportunity and the importance of supporting one another. We want business owners, future entrepreneurs, professionals and community partners in the room because economic empowerment is a collective responsibility.”
